Anyone can go bike camping, on whatever bike they own, with the camping equipment they already have (generally). That's the spirit of our Off-Leash Overnighters, and it shows through the photos from our bike camping events.
How far can that spirit take you? Pretty damn far: on a whim, Canadian and avowed not-a-cyclist Rajiv Dhaliwal bought a $250 mountain bike, a $40 rear rack, strapped his big-box-store camping gear to it and pedaled out onto the 3000+ mile Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail
that connects Jasper, Alberta to Antelope Wells, New Mexico.
His story on bikepacking.com is delightful and inspiring. Enjoy!
